Two monthly events. One connected business community.
MCE Connections brings businesses together through two different networking events each month.
Businesses based on Medway City Estate can attend both events, giving them regular opportunities to meet their neighbours and build connections across the wider business community.
Selected businesses from surrounding areas can apply to become MCE Supporters and attend our monthly MCE Growth Network events, as well as other relevant events hosted by MCE Connections.
Which networking events can I attend?
Businesses based on Medway City Estate
MCE members can attend both of our monthly networking events:
- MCE Members’ Networking, held on the first Wednesday of each month. Attendance is charged at the rate applicable to the member’s chosen membership tier.
- The MCE Growth Network, held on the third Wednesday of each month. This event is free for MCE members to attend.
Our tiered membership structure means that the higher the level of membership, the lower the attendance fee for MCE Members’ Networking.
Businesses from surrounding areas
Approved MCE Supporters can attend:
- The MCE Growth Network, held on the third Wednesday of each month. A per-person attendance fee applies.
- Other relevant events hosted by MCE Connections where Supporter attendance is available.
MCE Members’ Networking on the first Wednesday remains exclusively for MCE members and businesses based on Medway City Estate.

Our first networking event of each month is exclusively for MCE members and businesses based on Medway City Estate.
With hundreds of businesses operating within a relatively small area, there is enormous potential to meet new customers, suppliers, professional partners and trusted contacts without leaving the estate.

Attendance is charged according to the member’s chosen membership tier, with higher membership levels benefiting from lower event fees.
Third Wednesday: The MCE Growth Network
Connecting MCE businesses with the wider business community
While businesses based on Medway City Estate remain at the heart of the network, we recognise that strong business communities do not operate in isolation.
Many businesses outside the estate already support MCE companies, provide valuable services or have knowledge, contacts and opportunities that could benefit our members.
The MCE Growth Network creates a space for those relationships to develop in a positive and carefully managed environment.
External businesses may be invited to join the network if they:
The MCE Growth Network is free for MCE members to attend.
External businesses must apply to become MCE Supporters. An annual membership fee and a per-person event attendance fee apply.
This helps us maintain a balanced network that delivers genuine value to the estate and everyone involved.
Networking across the estate
Where possible, our events will rotate between different businesses and venues across Medway City Estate.
This gives local businesses the opportunity to showcase their premises, share what they do and help others discover more of the people, services and facilities available across the estate.
Events will also take place at different times of the day, making the network accessible to a wider range of business owners, directors, employees and professionals.

Our networking events are designed to create meaningful connections, not simply fill a room.
By carefully managing attendance, we can bring together a relevant mix of people who are genuinely interested in building relationships, supporting one another and contributing positively to the business community.
