Medway City Estate Connections Announces Abigail’s Footsteps as Charity of the Year

We are incredibly proud to announce Abigail’s Footsteps as the official Charity of the Year for Medway City Estate Connections.

Abigail’s Footsteps is a baby loss charity providing specialist bereavement care and support to parents and families following the death of a much-loved baby. Through counselling, practical support, training and awareness, the charity works tirelessly to ensure no family has to face baby loss alone.

The charity is widely recognised for the provision of Abi Cooling Cots to hospitals, hospices and funeral homes across the UK. These specialist cooling systems allow bereaved families precious extra time with their baby following loss — moments that many families describe as invaluable during unimaginably difficult circumstances.

Alongside direct family support, Abigail’s Footsteps also works closely with healthcare professionals through specialist bereavement training and support programmes designed to improve standards of care nationwide.

As a community built around relationships, collaboration and support, we believe it is important to use the platform not only to connect businesses, but also to champion causes making a genuine difference within our wider community.
