Medway City Estate Connections Secures Council Funding

Medway City Estate Connections has taken another important step forward, following a successful application to the Medway Council for funding through its PFG Grant. 

The grant is designed to support initiatives that can clearly demonstrate their potential to drive economic growth across the Medway area. With limited funds available, applications are assessed carefully, with priority given to those that go beyond covering day-to-day business costs and instead show a clear pathway to creating opportunity, strengthening local enterprise, and delivering long-term impact.

We were delighted to learn that our application was successful.

It reflects a strong alignment between what Medway City Estate Connections is building and the wider ambition to support business growth across the region. The endorsement from Medway Council is a positive step, not just for the platform itself, but for the businesses it is designed to support.

The application process was competitive, with a high number of detailed submissions from organisations across Medway, all focused on growth in different ways. To be selected within that context is something we are genuinely pleased about.

At its core, Medway City Estate Connections is built around a simple principle — that stronger connections between businesses create stronger opportunities for growth. Whether that’s through increased visibility, new relationships, or easier access to services on the estate, the aim is to make it easier for businesses to work together and grow.

This funding will help support that direction, allowing further development of the platform and continued engagement with businesses across Medway City Estate. 

Because while progress is already underway, the focus remains the same — building something that contributes to real, lasting growth across the Medway business community.
